Portraits of the Self

I often wonder why one decides to paint them-self, do they find themselves beautiful or are they vain? Maybe its to preserve a memory of how they are in the moment or maybe its to recognise the self, be conscious of the self. Even glamorize what you want the self to look like. Self love is the hardest thing to achieve so it could be an encouragement to love or find beauty in yourself and your surrounds.

This is my digital attempt at a self portrait just because I needed a challenge.
